When you want the very best protection from wind and cold for your animals you need side curtains that seal up your barn. You want curtains that can easily be adjusted up or down.

Fabric Choices:

• 10 oz Polyethylene - economical, long lasting, strong tight weave, and attractive
• 12 oz Vinyl Material - available in several colors, rolls up with ease and can be used in longer runs

Internal Winch System:

• Internal Winch Lift - Allows for operation of the curtain where the operator cannot reach.

Top Lift Systems:

• Top Lift Systems - Allow the operator to roll the curtain up from the bottom as far as needed and then drop the entire curtain so that the opening is at the top.
• Cranks - Hand friendly units can be easily adapted to the same curtain pipe that Sikkema's use in the hem of the curtain.

Operating Systems:

• Pro-Long Systems - Are designed to do extended lengths of curtain, allowing for an easier operation of the curtain.

Wind Bracing Packages:

• Internal Wind Bracing - Is needed to prevent wind and animal damage to the curtain.
  • Galvanized and Vinyl Coated Welded Wire - Heavy, durable product insures long life while also offering a great animal barrier.
  • Standard Galvanized Welded Wire - Great product to use when you're not low in the dirt and where there are no contaminants.
• External Wind Bracing
  • Vertical Wind Pipe - Heavy duty galvanized pipe. 
  • Vertical Strap Bracing - System is always used on Lap Curtains because it allows the roll up curtain pipe from the top curtain to cross over and fall below the bottom curtain suspension pipe.
  • Wind Bracing Rope/Eyelets - Low cost system usually used where livestock cannot get to the curtain.

Curtain Suspension Systems:

• Lap Curtains - The bottom lap curtain uses a 1.9 pipe in place of a mid-board and can be used with post spacing up to 10 feet wide.
• Standard Wood Mount - Usually used on wood construction and with exterior conduit and the special top and mid-board brackets that we supply.
• Steel Hanging Systems - In a completely steel I-beam or steel post barn this system attach's to a span as wide as 30 feet.

Pockets:

• Pro-Long Pockets - Typically comes with the automation system which is included in the Pro-Long package.
• Fabric Covered Pocket Kits - Allows you to inexpensively cover both the automation end and the closed end.
• Curtain Pocket Brackets - Allow you to use your own 2 x 2's to build a frame on which you attach your sheet steel.
